Effective January 2015 onwards the Membership Categories and Fees for the Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association is as follows.
There are 4 categories of members who are eligible to join the Association namely Full members, Ordinary members, Honorary and Institutional members.
The application will take 4 weeks to process. Please do not pay the membership fee until you or your organization have been approved by the MPIA committee.
Only Companies and/or multinational companies registered under the Malaysian Companies Act 1965 and registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia that are involved in the photovoltaic industry and/or in the development of the photovoltaic industry and having its principal place of business in Malaysia are eligible to be Full Members of the Association.

- Annual subscription fee for Full Member (yearly renewal)
There shall be two sub-categories under Ordinary Membership, Individual Membership and Corporate Membership whereby a person/organisation who is keenly interested in the photovoltaic industry but is not eligible for election to any other classes of membership. An ordinary member shall have no voting rights and shall not hold any post in the association.

- For Individuals and Corporate bodies wanting to know of the development in the photovoltaic industry and/or training programmes provided by MPIA or any authority or institution of higher learning.
Fee for Corporate Body Member
- Annual Subscription (yearly renewal)
A person distinguished in public life or by service to the Association.
Honorary membership shall be open to those bodies or entities who are invited to be honorary members of the association. An honorary member shall have no voting rights and shall not hold any post in the association. The membership of any honorary member shall be at the absolute discretion of the association and can be terminated at any time without any reason whatsoever.
A legally constituted professional institution, association, firm, company or organisation or any other similar body whose activities include or concern the photovoltaic industry.
Institutional membership shall be open to institutions of higher learning related to and/or for the promotion of the photovoltaic field and /or information and/or training and/or research or development of the photovoltaic industry in Malaysia. An Institutional member shall have no voting rights and shall not hold any post in the association.
